Support:  To keep something stable; to provide money and other necessities needed over a period of time; to be strong enough to hold something in place without it giving way.

All high school programs - sports or activities - regardless of student body size, community demographics or physical location - share one common thing...they all need and usually welcome support.

Support is like a three legged stool and without three strong legs, it wobbles. Leadership, Volunteers and Resources are key areas of assistance needed to show strong support.

SOS - Support Our Spartans is our acronym to our all encompassing approach of finding resources to enhance the efforts of our team year after year.

In most volunteer organizations, 20% of the people do 80% of the work. But even those that choose not to get involved, can be an important source of direct contributions or participate fundraising activities.

In addition, if you are employed by a company such as Microsoft, there may be a corporate matching fund program.   So take a moment to think about how you might be able to assist in providing resources that are always needed.

So, take some time to look at our other menu items under SOS, ask questions, and then make a personal commitment on how you can show your support.  It's that easy.
